Job Duties:
Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures using various tools and technologies. Integrate data from diverse sources, including databases, APIs, and external data provider. Manage data storage solutions, including databases, data warehouses, and data lakes, ensuring data quality, integrity, and performance. Develop and optimize Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) or Extract, Load, Transform (ELT) processes to move and transform data for analytical and business intelligence purposes.
Job Requirements: Requires Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field. Requires five years of experience in job offered, Database Analyst, Database Administrator or related. Experience in Python, Java, Scala, SQL, AWS, Azure, GCP, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, PySpark, AWS S3, AWS Lambda, Redshift, Spark MLlib. The Purpose of This Role
This is an automation position for WI Production support team who can develop and maintain automation and self-service solutions for various teams/consumers within the Fidelity WI business unit. This will also involve building end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for various cloud technologies.
The Value You Deliver
In this role, the engineer works in collaboration with the teams to:
- Analyze the legacy business critical scripts written in DOS and validate them on new platform
- Document and communicate engineering and operational results.
- Convert the legacy scripts to Python & test and validate the converted python scripts
- Work with operation team to migrate the validated scripts to production
- Assist and collaborate in application solution delivery efforts involving the design and development of solutions by incorporating new and/or approved technologies.
- Ensure Operations Team is adhering to Information Security, Regulatory Compliance, Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Management processes/practices.
- Automation skills using DOS, Shell scripting, Python, PL/SQL, Integration skills using REST and SOAP APIs
- Experience working on DevOps Tools like Git Stash, Jenkins, Udeploy, Artifactory, Nexus
- Good operating knowledge on Linux, Windows, and Networking
- Agile methodologies
